Family Practice or Internal Medicine----Multiple openings; Staff Physician assists in the planning and implementation of service delivery according to the corporate Health Care Plan and written protocols. The Staff Physician provides primary, secondary and tertiary care, including counseling and referral as part of a multi-disciplinary team; must be sensitive to the needs of diverse cultural backgrounds of the medically underserved.
currently licensed to practice in the State of Alabama; must have MD or Foreign degree equivalent; must have completed residency for board eligibility, but certification preferred.

Pediatrician-----Must be able to provide care for children throughout the pediatric and adolescent life cycles; involves treating day-to-day illnesses that are common to children: minor injuries, infectious/genetic diseases and immunizations; must be sensitive to the needs of diverse cultural backgrounds of the medically underserved.
Qualifications: currently licensed in the State of Alabama; must have completed a residency for board eligibility (board certification preferred)

Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner---------Multiple openings; A Certified RegisteredNurse Practitioner (CRNP) delivers primary and preventive care services according to established protocols and under preceptorship of a designated physician. The Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner provides primary care including counseling and referral as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Qualifications: Currently Licensed in the State of Alabama; five years experience as a NP in public health or community health setting preferred.

General Dentist---- Provides dental care through corrective care, the prevention of dental disease and the promotion of dental health; ability to communicate and relate effectively with patients, administration and medical personnel; must be able to function as a collaborative and egalitarian team member; must be able to work under stress while maintaining a level of quiescence that decreases anxiety in personnel and patients; must be able to work with children.
Qualification: DDS or DMD from an approved dental school; valid State of Alabama license

Psychiatrist ------The Psychiatrist functions as the leader of the corporate Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse team in primary care practice by addressing the psychiatric needs of patients for evaluation, diagnosis, treatment with medicine and psychotherapy, and overall recommendations impacting the patient’s psychiatric management. Duties include: participating in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with behavioral health problems; completing psychiatric examination of presented patients with documentation to be done in the Electronic Medical Record System; consulting with patients, their families, and other medical professionals as needed; reviewing Behavioral Health treatment plans prepared by corporate Behavioral Health therapists; prescribing medications for the treatment of psychiatric disorders.
Must have a M.D. degree from an accredited School of Medicine, completion of a residency program in Psychiatry at an approved institution or hospital, and at least three years experience in the field of Psychiatry, board certified. Must be licensed in the State of Alabama to practice Psychiatry. Knowledge of the principles and practices of primary care, substance abuse and psychiatry.

Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) – Substance Abuse/Mental Health Specialty ------The CRNP with a substance abuse specialty functions as a member of the comprehensive primary health care team and is responsible for the provision and the coordination of substance abuse services at assigned corporate locations. This includes coordinating linkages between primary care and substance abuse assessment and treatment; ensuring that standards and evaluation measures are completed and providing direct services related to screening, referral, treatment and prevention initiatives. Duties include: developing and implementing substance abuse prevention programs for patients as needed but especially to targeted special population groups; completing assessment and disposition of referrals for substance abuse intervention within 24 hours of the patient referral; conducting group therapy sessions for substance abuse patients and their families.
Master’s Degree in Nursing; CRNP registration required; Certification in substance abuse required; Must have basic computer skills.
