Clinical Nurse Team Lead
The primary function of the Clinical Nurse Team Lead is a peer position that assists with nursing care and support staff activities for the clinical department to ensure optimum workflow and the provision of high quality care. Provide patient care in the various sites, assist with clinician or staff concerns. The Clinical Nurse Team Lead is expected to demonstrate critical thinking skills, leadership, and appropriate role modeling. Provide patient care in the various sites, assist with clinician or staff concerns.
Duties and Responsibilities: Precepts and acts as role model for newly hired clinical staff in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Manager and assists with site orientation for new staff members; Assists in developing standards of competency; Acts as a resource to the staff on clinical issues and assists in staff training on performances of procedures and nursing tasks as outlined in clinical policies and procedures; Coordinates and conducts diabetic classes; Provides feedback to the Clinical Nurse Manager and the Clinical Services Director regarding clinical performance and professional behavior of clinician staff; Assists with employee health requirements in order to maintain ongoing screening and monitoring programs; Assists with monthly nursing unit inspections at all corporate clinics; Assists the EHR department of training for the clinical staff on the EMR System and Lab System.
Qualifications: Current Alabama Nursing Licensure. At least two years full-time nursing experience. Familiar with accreditation standards and federal regulations (preferred). Must have strong computer skills. Must maintain current CPR certification.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Assistant to physicians and other professionals in the provision of primary care. Responsive commitment to the needs of patients and ability to deal politely with public even under stress.
Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited program in practical nursing; current registration to work as a LPN in the State of Alabama; At least one year of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
